Royal Palace
The Royal Palace dominates the Piazza Plebiscito
with its red façade and the niches that hosted
the eight statues representing the kings of Naples.
The Palace built in
1600 for the Spanish Viceroys is a handsome edifice
with great halls filled with furniture, tapestries,
paintings and porcelain.
It’s worth visiting the Throne Room, the
Oratory (the Queen's private chapel), the small but
lavish Court Theater and the sumptuous Royal Apartments.
