FORUMS OF CESARE  & AUGUSTUS - ROME, ITALY

ancient romeForums of Cesare and Augustus

We are in the center of ancient Rome where people lived and died, now considered as ruins, things of the past spanning over 2,000 years; this is forums of Cesare and Augustus.

Julio Caesar built the first Imperial Forum 56-54 BC that replaced the old forum. Caesar spent a fortune buying up and demolishing houses on the site. All that remains today is a platform and three Corinthian columns.

Forum of Augustus

Built to celebrate Augustus's victory over Brutus and Cassius, the assassins of Julio Caesar, the temple was dedicated to Mars the Avenger.

You'll leave with fond memories that will last a life time.
